Premier programming isn’t just about an engaging treatment program for teens. It’s also the people, environment and white-glove extras that focus our unique treatment and create positive outcomes.
Our Life-Skills Mentors are career-minded students drawn from the Psychology and Social Work departments of our local universities (BYU and UVU). They accompany our teens every step of the way, providing not only safety and supervision but true direction and encouragement as well. With a staff to student ratio of no more than six to one, our Life-Skills Mentors are engaged in every therapeutic group and every classroom setting. Their presence helps to ensure a safe and supportive environment where students can learn, grow and develop lifelong skills from mentorship that will benefit them well after they have moved on from Discovery Day Treatment.
MEALS AND SNACKS
Discovery Day Treatment offers breakfast, lunch and snacks each day! We have a full restaurant-sized kitchen to provide all of our students nutritious meals made with love.
We recognize that getting your teen to and from day treatment can be difficult for many families so we are able to provide transportation assistance when needed with stops up and down the I-15 corridor.
The atmosphere on our campus is conducive to the therapeutic process, while also providing an enriching and enjoyable experience. Academic, group, and leisure areas are set up to be spacious and comfortable. Discovery Day Treatment also has a music studio, gymnasium, and our grounds consist of a sports field and basketball court allowing participants the opportunity for physical activity and growth.
